Fundraising

CCAA is a volunteer-led charity, run by people who have been affected by Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA). The charity receives no statutory funding and has to fund raise every penny we spend. Your donations help to finance all the projects and events we run across the country and the family support services we provide.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, is very gratefully received. Without these donations, we would not be able to continue the work we do to support the children and families affected by JIA.

All money donated or raised is spent directly on the children with JIA. Donations go towards arranging and funding our projects, in particular our JIA Family Support Weekends and our network of local groups were families meet locally to help support each other.

The events we organise provide a unique opportunity for the children and their families to learn more about the condition, how to cope with it, and to meet other children and families in the same situation, as well as have a weekend full of fun!

Would you like to raise money for the CCAA but not sure what to do?  Below are some ideas, and please take a look at our fundraisers Wall of Thanks to help inspire you!

Events & Challenges

Are you thinking of embarking on a personal challenge for CCAA? Maybe it’s a skydive, a mud run, a bike ride, a fun run or a truck pull (yes, we’ve had that before!). Whatever the challenge is let us know we would love to hear about it so we can help promote your fundraising.

Special Occasions

A special occasion is a great way of raising awareness and fundraising for a cause that is close to your heart. Maybe you would like people to donate instead of give gifts at your wedding, or you would like family and friends to give a gift of a donation for your birthday or anniversary.

In memory of

Would you like donate in memory of someone special, commemorate a loved one or leave CCAA a donation in your Will. It may be someone you know that has been affected by JIA, or they may be going through a difficult time with treatments. Get in touch to find out how to donate this way.

Our Wall of Thanks

Here are just some of our amazing supporters and fundraisers that between them over the years have raised thousands for CCAA. Everyone at CCAA would like to thank each and every person that fundraises for us. The money you raise goes a long way to helping us support children with JIA and their families. Without your help and support we wouldn’t be able to do what we do.
