New addition to our Award Badges – Next Steps

To mark WORD day 2026 and a massive 5 year milestone since the start of our CCAA award badge scheme, we are delighted to reveal our new addition to the family!
Bringing you the ‘Next Steps’ badge in a bright zingy purple – all in stock and ready to be sent out to deserving recipients!
To fill you in on the background to this one, we were asked by Health Professionals to create a badge for those children and young people moving on from paediatric care to adolescent or adult care services. But we recognised that there are other milestones along the journey that also merit special recognition. So with the help of our amazing parent reps and loyal followers, we went one better and created a badge to suit all those ‘next steps’ that happen when you live with JIA. We hope you will love it as much as we do!
Please find all the info about this badge and our existing badges including the nomination form here:

London Marathon

Our wonderful Committee member Rhiannon has set herself the Challenge of running the London Marathon on 26th April.
Rhiannon’s daughter Saskia was 3 years old when she was diagnosed with JIA.
“Through CCAA, we have been able to build a support network, meet other families, attend a CCAA Family Support Weekend as well as local meet-ups. This has enabled Saskia to meet other children with JIA who all understand each other. I want to give back to this wonderful Charity who have been so supportive to us.”
Good Luck for your Challenge Rhiannon. We all think you are amazing!!!!!
Thank you for your support.
